Playing Santa was my crutch

Warren playing Santa.
Warren loved playing Santa and making kids happy. But, being overweight took a toll on his health. This is Warren's story:
"When I played Santa, that was my crutch. I'll stay fat so I can be a good Santa. It's not worth your health."
At his heaviest, Warren says that he couldn't go shopping without walking 100-200 feet and getting tired. "That's not a good way to live," he says. He also said that his career as a truck driver was not a healthy lifestyle for him, as he was eating the wrong things on the road and getting little sleep.
"One hundred and twenty pounds I lost total and I haven't felt this good in I don't know how many years. I had Gastric Bypass because my health was really going down. I made the decision when I had a mild heart attack. I had four blockages I did not know I had."

He talked to his doctor about ways that he could lose the weight, and gastric bypass was the option that was best for him. His team at PinnacleHealth was behind him in his choice, and gave him the support he needed.
Today, people cannot believe it when they see Warren and how thin he is. And, he's proud of his success!
