PinnacleHealth | 10.17.13
Jean says that she had always lived a fearless life- until a routine mammogram came back with results that changed her life forever.
She had an intuitive sense that something was not right, and on Jan 7th- she got the news.
“There’s nothing that comes close to hearing that you have cancer,” she reads from a journal entry written that day. She describes the range of emotions that the felt and the feeling that time moved forward, but she felt like she was trapped in a vacuum.
But, it was the support of people in her life that lifted out of that fear. “I have my family, my friends, the love and prayers of many- and I have my faith. So, let the healing begin. I am not afraid.”
Hear from Jean and learn about her cancer experience and what set Dr. Torp, from the PinnacleHealth Breast Care Center, apart to make the difference in her care.
