Watch: Time for Health

Did you know the community you live in can affect your health?
For example..the way in which a community is designed could promote physical activity – or in some cases prevent it. Maybe there are no sidewalks or the playgrounds aren’t safe. Maybe there’s limited or no access to fresh produce.
We live busy lives and the healthy choice isn't always the easy choice. The good news is many communities, workplaces and schools are recognizing the fact that small steps can make a difference.
Well, there are communities right here in Central PA that are taking action to tackle issues like these, in order to make healthy living easier for residents.
Take a look in this episode of witf's HealthSmart:
Here are some other great examples of community transformation:
-Eat, Play, Breathe York: In York, the healthy choice is the easy choice
-The Greenhouse is a community organization that works hand in hand with farmers across Pennsylvania to Recover. Preserve. Share. (pictured right)
-In Camp Hill, walking school busses get kids moving
